The employer provides training, the third component of the education, training, and experience mix. Based on the systems inspection program, training and qualification of personnel represent one of the areas where FDA investigators may focus their attention. From a risk perspective, it is an area in which a laboratory should have a strong program. The overall program for laboratory training should be defined in the training procedure(s).
